8 months we’ve waited to see what the “prototype” at the time, would turn out to be. Now we know. We know that the 8 months spent, were spent well. Spent improving, refining, and innovating the Helix. Many, like us, jumped immediately at the chance to pre-order the frame blindly, trusting that ImpulseRC wouldn’t let us down. Our faith was well founded. ImpulseRC has truly made a new breed!

At $199 USD enthusiasts expect to get their moneys worth. The Helix delivers. This isn’t just a frame. This is a KIT! A kit that has been refined and built completely from the ground up. The kit includes the frame and it’s carbon fiber components and hardware. A custom ImpulseRC flight controller running Betaflight with blackbox elec-gallery-5-ssupport, direct LiPo input, LED strips, and a buzzer. A VTX with built in OSD and microphone as well as a 5V output for your camera. The VTX is also adjustable to 25mw, 200mw, and 500mw power, which can all be changed via the OSD menu and gives you perfectly clean video from it’s built in filters. Want to run 6s on your Helix? Well all of the electronics can handle it. They’re rated to 40V input to even deal with your motor and ESC voltage spikes. As ImpulseRC puts it, “Obscene power right out of the box.”
Even the Little Details
ImpulseRC even took care of the little details. They give you the option to mount your FPV camera at 30, 40, and 60 degrees. They give you a GoPro mount in your kit. All the carbon fiber plates are chamfered and come with injection molded fairings to protect your ESCs. Always chopping off your receiver antennas? ImpulseRC solved that issue! The Helix kit includes a machined aluminum clamp to keep your antennas secure and at the proper angles.
Ever experienced noise in your FC? ImpulseRC also took care of that! The FC utilizes the least noisy and most reliable gyro out, the Invense MPU6000, and then they soft mount everything! All included in the kit. The Helix is designed for pure performance. You can expect to have the most crisp, smooth, and responsive flights ever with this frame and it’s accompanying electronics.
